Mission Statement

My mission is to build a site where users can custom design their own cartoon character and have it produced as an illustration, animation, or merchandise.

The user has little to no limits and much control to what kind of character they want to design. On the site, the user submits his character idea by filling out a form. The from will include a wide range of options to what the character is, its identity, its personality, design, and aesthetic. Not only in this form will the user select provided attributes for his character, the user can enter in specific information concerning the the certain design elements and the unique characteristics of his character. At the end of the form, the user will choose what he desires to be made of his character let it be an illustration, animation, or applied to merchandise. Reference sketches my also be submitted in the form and examples of different character attributes will be shown to aid the user. An e-mail address will also be required on the form so that the product may be delivered to the user.

After the information from the form is submitted, the team that creates the site goes to work. All the details entered into the form are laid out and used to create an appropriate render for the user's character. A finish design of the character will be made and sent to the user for approval or disapproval, in which case the user will be asked to give feedback to what he'd like changed. From there on, the final product is produced and then sent to the user. Illustrations and animations made for users can be shared on social media sites. Because of the tedious time it takes to animate, animations will not exceed 5 seconds in length. Both illustration and/or animation will feature the character displaying its custom made personality, its name, the name of the user who submitted the idea for the character, and the name of the site in which it was made.
